The extensive walled gardens and pool terrace provide ample space and sun and shade for lazing. Two exterior dining terraces - one bordered by purple and crimson Bougainvillaea, Jacaranda and Jasmine looks out over valleys of Olive and Cypress trees with glimpses of the sea on Paxos’ west coast. The lower dining terrace is shaded by a large vine covered pergola. Barbecue outside kitchen.
Inside is a comfortable and attractively furnished open plan sitting / dining area with arch to a contemporary kitchen. The spacious bedroom has ample storage and a double bed with brass bedhead. Good size bathroom with shower enclosure.
Air conditioning in bedroom of main house and in the en-suite Studio, WiFi and maid service.
Nothing is very far away on this small but perfectly formed island. The centre of the village of Magazia is just 10 minutes on foot from the house offering tavernas, supermarket, village bakery and a charming traditional Kafenion with garden.
The sunset bar and restaurant at Erimitis with its spectacular views is 5 minutes by car or a 35-40 minute flat walk - perfect for a summer’s evening with a torch! There are many shops, tavernas, bars, cafes and supermarkets in the 3 harbour towns. Free internet access is available in all towns and cafes, as well as ATM’s.
Car hire is recommended but the local bus service and taxis will get you around efficiently and economically. Maybe hire a car for the first week and get your bearings and then venture out by taxi or bus for the second week. The owners are very happy to assist with transfer information, local information, car hire, hotels in Corfu town etc etc
Bookings run from Mondays in multiples of 7 nights. Please enquire about surcharge for use of the Studio but please note that the House and Studio are only suitable for adults.
